icrosoft Pakistan held the Pakistan rounds of the Imagine Cup 2007 software competition at Bahria University, Karachi. Best student projects from universities all over the country were competing for The Cup. LUMS, Lahore was being represented by a team from B.Sc. 2007 with their project AVRiL, which is their CS Senior Project. This project and several others were later on display around the LUMS central courtyard for the benefit of the wider LUMS community.
The AVRiL team will now be representing Pakistan at the Imagine Cup in Korea in August. This is the first time LUMS will be going to the Imagine Cup finals to hopefully bring fame to Pakistan.
